A continuing series of presentations through October 29th - All viewed by way of Satellite in the church sanctuary. All seats are free (of course!). Friday September 30 starts the series. I hear chili and sandwiches will be served as a meal for those coming straight from work.
The Andrews Study Bibles will be given to 50 people who make the time to attend at least 10 days of the series. This would be the time to invite someone you know has an interest in knowing the bible better. It’s amazing how much you learn each time this series is presented. Like the bible, it depends on the writer, different views create a bigger picture.
I’ll be first in line for chili!!!!!

I set my phone alarms (3) and the standard alarms (2) to insure a prompt wake up call. I’m so set in my ways that I will sleep through my phone alarms if it’s earlier than my regular wake up time. I am a night person. But this day was worth waking up early…..I wish I could say I sprang out of bed, but I didn’t.
Everyone seem to have a good time. It was fellowship on foot. Some of us walked slow (me) some of us walked fast, some of us ran and one of us road a bike. Either way we were all committed to finishing. I must say 3 miles is not easy for a beginner.
Our eldest member was 69 and our youngest and only child to participate was 10 years old. The youngest walker started moving long before we ever hit the sidewalk.
Our Route: west on Boughton 1.6 miles to just past Pizza Hut. Next time I’ll try to get Pizza Hut involved. Maybe a welcome walkers sign or something.
Pastor and Mrs. Sigh weren’t able to walk with us, they put their time in by walking much earlier that morning. Their points will be added to the 1 million miles for that day. They blessed us with prayer and off we went………
You’ll want to join up the next time. As soon as I’m off the muscle relaxer. I start planning for the next one. A fall walk throught the community, viewing and enjoying the fall colors would be fun, don’t you think?
